La Casita

Oftentimes entire families come to Conversa to learn Spanish. While Conversa does have hosts with the capability of handling families, we have found it helpful to have La Casita as an alternative. La Casita was built in 1992. It looks like an old adobe house, the kind one used to find on coffee plantations here on the Meseta Central. Truth be told, it is made of concrete blocks, but the wavy stucco finish gives the illusion of adobe. The building can accommodate two families. There are two two-room suites, each with an adjoining bath. There is a large front terrace and a charming side patio as well as a shared living room and kitchen. Adjoining La Casita are swings, ping pong tables a TV lounge and a swimming pool.
